Hostal Sa Baronia
Very close to the Plaza de la Vila, is our hostal, an old cloister with a defence tower and a manor house that were built in the 17th century. It is one of the most emblematic buildings in the village.

VILA SQUARE
Located in the heart of the village, it houses some of the most important buildings of this small town in the northwest of Mallorca, the church of Santa Maria built at the end of the 12th century and the town hall of Banyalbufar.

VIEWPOINT OF SES ÀNIMES
This viewpoint near Torre d'es Verger has spectacular views of the sea and the cliffs surrounding Banyalbufar. It is a perfect place to take photographs and contemplate the natural beauty of the area.

From Sa Baronia we also recommend you to visit our restaurant, where you can taste typical Mallorcan dishes, as well as excellent meat and fish. Furthermore, from the restaurant's terrace you can enjoy one of the best sunsets on the island.

Wineries and wine tasting
The region of Banyalbufar is known for its terraced vineyards, where Malvasia wine is produced. Celler Ca'n Pico, Malvasia de Banyalbufar (Timbola) and Cooperativa de Banyalbufar, are the main local wineries.
We recommend you take a break on the way to taste the wines of the different local producers, which you can try in the restaurants in the area or buy in the shops in the village.

Visit Sa Foradada
The Sa Foradada viewpoint is located 30 minutes from Banyalbufar. It is one of the most visited places in Mallorca. This unique enclave overlooking the Mediterranean Sea has a beach bar where you can have a drink while you enjoy the spectacular views.
Watching the sunset from here is the best way to end a day visiting Banyalbufar and its surroundings.


Charming villages Near Banyalbufar
Estellencs
Estellencs is located approximately 8 kilometres away from Banyalbufar by road. It does not have sandy beaches, however, it captivates with its cobbled streets and outstanding constructions such as the Tower of Tem Alemany or the Church of San Juan Bautista, which has its origins in the 17th century.

Valldemossa
Valldemossa is a beautiful village also located in the Tramuntana mountain range, in the northwest of the island of Mallorca. It is known for its narrow cobbled streets, its panoramic views and its famous potato cakes.

Deià
The village of Deià is located 30 minutes by road from Banyalbufar. This small corner of the Serra de Tramuntana hides unique places such as: the Sa Foradada viewpoint, Cala Deià or its houses and cobbled streets.

Puigpunyent
Puigpunyent, 20 minutes from Banyalbufar, offers a combination of nature, culture and tradition. Its historic centre, the church of San Juan Bautista and the Puig de Galatzó are outstanding for hiking. This locality also offers activities such as climbing, cycling and canyoning.

Esporles
Esporles, very close to Banyalbufar, offers a unique experience with its mountainous surroundings and rich history. Attractions include the Tramuntana mountain range for hiking and local wineries for wine tasting.

Playa de Son Bunyola
